Great work mate, I love Gmod, got some good camera work going on there (even if it is only virtual ones) although that motion sickness camera movement got too repetitive, also i'm sure you know about ur technical issues like the FPS on Riot Squad but its there anyway.

Riot was definitely better but if i were you i would include more close ups (or maybe at least 1) because at the moment we're not really caring about the characters and Valve spent allot of time making their models look good so use what's already there are give some stunning graphical close ups in the to be continued film for me please.

once again great work add me on steam:
DEEP MUD

good luck with your projects mate.

Hey there!

My name is Fenna Kooymans, I am 22 years old and I am a student from Holland. For my thesis I’m looking for people who would like to participate in an interview. Would you like to participate? It only need 15 minutes of your time. You will help me a lot!

I’m looking for young creative people between the age of 18-30 years old, such as students and graduates, living in the UK. Examples of creative activities: directing, producing, editing, animation/motion graphics, camerawork and much more. It is difficult for me to find participants in the UK, because I am living in the Netherlands. If you could help me, I would appreciate that very much!!

When I finished my thesis, I will send you a copy of my results. Maybe this could be interesting for you. You can also contact me by mail: fennakooymans@hotmail.com

Information about the interview:
The interviews will take place trough Skype. On www.skype.com you can have video conversations for free. In this interview participants will be asked about their creative activities, what kind of work they do (starting their own company or freelancing), how they put themselves in the spotlight (portfolio), what do they think of the creative industry in the UK, if they are connected to a creative network, the reasons/motivation to connect yourself to an creative network.

What do I ask from the participant?
> Only 15 minutes of his time in week 30 (alternative week 31).
> A PC/Mac with internet and a webcam for the interview on Skype.

Examples of creative networks in the UK: http://www.behance.net/, http://www.kin2kin.co.uk/, http://www.creative-choices.co.uk/network. www.brandfighters.com, www.vimeo.com

Hi everyone,
I work for v, the youth volunteering charity. We’re offering 18-25 year olds FREE summer festival tickets to V Festival, Relentless Boardmasters and Creamfields as part of our Summer of Give initiative.
All you have to do is volunteer your time and talents to v and entertain crowds with your skills at each festival. In return, you will get to showcase your talent AND a free weekend pass for the festival. It can be anything you are good at, be it art, comedy, dance or music that you want to share with v.
You must hurry as applications close on the 28th June 2010. Head here to be a part of it: www.vinspired.com/summerofgive
Thanks,
Reinout

Hey,

Been a while since I last posted, but thought i'd update you all. I've been working on two new scripts laterly. The first is about the public water being contaminated and only the male population are being infected by this. Its a 5 minute short, that will follow the story of an extreme case. This script is finished and am currently hunting for actors and locations.

The second is a take on pergatory. Seeing pergatory as a waiting room, where you speak to a man called "The Decider". He talks you through your life and decides whether you belong in heaven or hell. This is an interesting script to write and is still in early stages.

Hey guys, i was just pondering new faster ways uploading to the site, unfortunately i didn't come up with any but i did have a good idea which might save you uploading bloody massive files. ok so youtube.com is basically the best quality you are going to get right? so if you have already gone through the pain of uploading that 2.5GB video file to youtube that for some reason won't upload to youngdirectors then you may as well use the file that youtube converted and is what you actually see when you watch a video. Most web videos are compressed into the FLV format which is a very small file size, so an easy way to upload video on your youtube account to your youngdirectors account is:

1 download Firefox (web browser) www.mozilla.com/firefox
2 install video downloading add-on for firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006
3 read the instruction to the new add-on to find out how to download videos (you will automatically go to this when you have restarted firefox after the instalation)
4 go to youtube and go to your video (make sure you have clicked the HQ button) then basically click the litlle arrow in the image and select the video.

5 whens its done downloading you can upload it here in probably less the time it would have taken if you were to upload the original film.
Both Firefox and the media downloading add-on are available for PC & MAC

Its basically a load of seminars and workshops for filmmakers and whatnot, its mainly technical as it is really only there so that companies can advertise their equipment but it sounds really good. i'm definitely going, i would think that only a few others i know would be interested but you should pass it on to the people who you think might be interested.

Its FREE if you register before sometime next week but after that it costs £15 so be quick, if you wanna meet up and go with me just let me know and we can plan a trip.
invite people and stuff. also when you register just enter a fake production company no one checks, or if you have a real one just enter that... obviously

its only on in London as far as i know but if you live quite far outside of the capital don't bother coming unless there is something you really want to know because i don't think its a big do.
